About Corless & Zinober
In 2002, Ted Corless left the law firm of Shook, Hardy & Bacon, an internationally recognized law firm, with offices throughout the United States and in several countries. At Shook Hardy, Corless was working on the National Products Liability Team for Philip Morris's defense of Big Tobacco. Although receiving high accolades from the Firm, he felt something lacking in his practice. Having previously worked for other premier National law firms, including Carlton Fields in Florida, Corless set out to form a new law firm, where he felt he could better represent the interests of people, either in an individual capacity or as important parts of a company needing assistance.
Over these last several years, Corless gathered together a group of people who share in a desire to avoid the trappings of large, bureaucratic law firms, but who believe their combined efforts can serve their clients' interests better than small, 2 or 3 lawyer firms. We now have attorneys who are licensed and have practiced throughout the United States, but now make Florida their home. Whether it is a family law matter, or whether we are representing a large insurance company, we bring the same attention to detail and care about the services we provide.
